The central courtyard is beautiful. The location is convenient for the station and cultural sites and restaurants. The room (modern wing) was well appointed. Plentiful breakfast and good to have the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful hotel inside the old town built inside an ancient monastery. It is close to everything in Avignon. We had a room in the old part which was wonderful. However in the summer heat the AC couldn’t quite cope with the temperature so it was hot. A small quibble but if we were to return it would need to be at a cooler time.

The building and location is exceptional. However, we have been to hundreds of 4 star hotels, and this one is by far the worst. Perhaps they expect you to be housed as monks, so bare minimum. They charged us 168 euros for a room that had furniture that would embarrass IKEA. It is bare minimum, but breakfast was included and quite decent. Overall, a bit of a rip-off.

Charming hotel in a very good location. The room (old section) was beautiful, with a view of the courtyard and fountain. The walls were thick and good windows prevented noise from the courtyard. Hallway noise was not an issue, due to the bedroom being through an additional door. Comfortable beds, with quality linens. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant, and it was excellent. The server was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was copious and good. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our trip, and we gladly would have booked additional nights if the trip itinerary had permitted.

My room was quite comfortable and I slept well. However, there are no outlets near the bed and I prefer to plug my phone in nearby. The Lift in the back part of the hotel that serviced my room was tricky to figure out. Also the garden is lovely but the tables and chair could be kept more clean. The breakfast was not very good. The eggs were terrible, the bacon was soggy and unappetizing and the pancake machine was broken. I had the yogurt with mueslie but there weren't any fresh berries. For the type of hotel, the breakfast buffet which was valued at 18 euros needs a lot of improvement.
