Rooms were great with comfortable beds; secure and quiet. Hotel is in a very good location with 1-2 minute walks to nearby cafes and bistros; only a 15 minute walk to the river cruise ship quais, or the hotel will schedule a taxi transport for you. We did this since we were a party of 4 with several pieces of luggage and the cost was the standard transfer fee of 40 Euros for the 4 of us. Manager stored all our luggage for us after check-out, while we waited 3 hours to board our cruise ship. We highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel de Cambis, conveniently located near the Avignon Central station. The hotel was also very close to shopping, restaurants and about a 5-10 minute walk from the main beautiful square. We received an upgrade when we arrived and were grateful to the staff and hotel. They were very accommodating, spoke great English and offered good tips/recommendations for the town. We stayed here for a nearby wedding and our room was very spacious and offered nice closets and an excellent bathroom. The whole room was very clean and we had a nice view of the nearby church and main street. We did not opt in for the breakfast but the breakfast room was very cute and smelled amazing as we passed by each morning. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!

Such helpful and lovely staff! Great sized room with excellent AC, important in August. Cute vibe and aesthetic. Good location, with most things being witching 10 mins walking. The beauty of the city is to simply meander so great locale to do so from.

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Cambis in Avignon. Very easy taxi ride from the train station. Very convenient location of the hotel to everything there is to see in the old town walled city. Tons of restaurants and shopping all around. The Palace of the Popes is a 6 minute walk. Our room was large enough to feel like we could unpack a bit and move around compared to our hotel in Paris. There was a nice size bathroom with large shower and a very comfortable bed. There was not a mini fridge in the room and they gave us one bottle of water. They did leave us a free shopping bag and some cookies. Which was a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel highly.
