While my room was small, it overlooked the courtyard and was perfect for one guest. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Location in center of town was excellent, with the tourist office less than a block away.

First time in Avignon and this hotel was superb. The staff welcomed us after a horrible train ride from Paris and explained everything we needed to settle in. The room is spacious and clean and the street view is lively. Location is central to everything - hence the name. Always felt safe and the hotel restaurant has great service as well. Would stay here every visit to Avignon.

I really like the breakfast here, with so many good options and so delicious. My room was at the first floor, so it was somewhat noisy, because I could hear the reception at night time. The location of the hotel is good. I enjoyed the short walk to museums and train station.

Very very well located in the old city, quite close to the train/bus stations, but also a quick walk to the main squares and the Papal Palace. Staff was friendly, buffet breakfast was sufficient, and was an unexpectedly large and comfortable room. Would stay here again for sure.

We had two rooms for a two night stay. The air conditioning in one room (46) was excellent, however the air conditioning in the second room (47) was minimal or not functioning. The front desk had a look and unlocked more controls on the thermostat but that didn’t make a difference. No other rooms available. The staff were friendly and tried their best with what they had. Something new to us at breakfast was the basket of eggs. I discovered after the fact that you have to cook them yourself. However the bath of boiling water in which you would normally do this was broken. Thinking it was already pre-cooked, I cracked it open at the table and… well… sorry about the mess!
