“My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry. “In general I enjoyed the stay very much. The proprietor is lovely and helpful, the lodging itself is dated but full of charm. Breakfast was modest but fresh and very tasty. Being a Francophone helps as the host does not speak English but this is less an issue these days with translation tools available on your mobile device.
