Quaint and very cozy setting, you couldn't ask for a better location for Flam. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We were traveling with our 3 and 1 year old. They held our luggage at the front desk with no trouble and the included breakfast was very extensive.

There aren’t even words- such a spectacular, beautiful stay. I loved my room, the full bed was extremely comfortable, and I LOVED being on the top floor in the attic style room. The views were unreal, and it was just a fabulous experience all around.

Ground floor room was ideal but just felt the room needed an update in furnishings and bathroom facilities. It was however very clean. Reception area was very nice where you could sit and have a drink. Breakfasts were very nice and the evening meal was particularly enjoyable from the Al la Carte Menu. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Expensive. 1 elevator per wing caused delays at morning departure. Dinner was very good. Breakfast was ok but could be better for such a pricy hotel (eg, pancake/crepe was bland and cold, no expresso/cappuccino machine, coffee flavor was so so, etc). If you don't mind the price, hotel is very good.

Great location. Double occupancy rooms on the 4th floor are really a US sized double bed.fine if you are cuddlers! Staff is exceptional for a large seasonal hotel.

very old hotel. the restaurant and lobby area were renovated and acceptable. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonable. But the rooms were like old motels from the 70s for the price of a 5 star modern hotel. note that this was the best hotel in Flam area with a prime location. So, this answers why it is so over priced and explains why the owners have no motivation for improvements. They charge for any small requests that are typically granted at other hotels like late checkout fee for over 30minutes stay, and parking fee even though there are plenty of space outside. The only positive thing was that there is a laundry and drying machine on premises.

The hotel dominates the small Flåm hotel. It is right next to the train station and the fjord boat. The prices are astronomical but unfortunately the main and one of the only places to stay in Flåm. The rooms are nice but basic. Views of the harbor are beautiful! The breakfast is fabulous!

Amazing location and access to unscheduled and scheduled activities. Ideal location to watch the sunshine on the surrounding mountains while enjoying a refreshing beverage after a day of hiking, biking, zip lining and floating sauna/cold plunge. Centrally located with its own restaurants, and walking distance to several others. Exactly as advertised.
