The beds were very comfortable and while the room had its own air conditioning unit, we didn’t need to use it even though it was still winter. Nice big shower and separate bath. The water didn’t drain from the shower fast enough, but otherwise good. Excellent buffet breakfast with a wide selection available. Very good onsite gym that had everything I needed. The pool looked inviting, but I didn’t have time to use it. Very helpful and friendly staff. I will book again.

I enjoyed my stay a here, the place was clean and met all my needs . They're is plenty of shopping opportunities within walking distance .It was great having a walking track with a nice view to use every day. I have some great memories of walking part of the basin to go to the swimming pool on the far side as a child and riding on the model train down to the right of the entrance to the track. I would definitely stay again when I return to Auckland.
