The property appears to have been recently remodeled. Very clean. Large rooms with modest furnishings throughout the hotel. The pool was out of service at the time of our stay, but the pool area was good. Breakfast was good but in the continental style (just an YFI for those looking for more of a full breakfast). Staff could not have been friendly.

AC worked very well. My particular room was huge with two full size, comfortable beds and a couch, microwave, and a good refrigerator (items stayed cold). My room also had a jacuzzi tub/shower which was phenomenal. Everything appeared clean except the door handle, but I always bring my own wipes to hotels for extra caution. TV was big and had HDMI to connect my own devices. Breakfast was not the best- no hot food at all. They offered cereals, bagels, muffins, boiled eggs, oatmeal, a yogurt machine with toppings (strawberry jam, sliced almonds, brown sugar, and raisins), bananas, apples, coffee, tea and juice. I love a hot breakfast at hotels, so this was the biggest disappointment for me. Staff could’ve been friendlier and more welcoming- they were not rude but I’ve had better experiences in other hotels is all I’m saying. My only complaint about this hotel is they do not enforce a strict no noise policy and the walls and ceilings are very thin: I could hear the person upstairs walking around and the people next door were blasting music until 2am. I was on the first floor just a couple rooms from the lobby, so I found it extremely displeasing that the front desk could definitely hear this loud music and didn’t bother to address this. I’ve never experienced that before. Other than that, I did feel safe in the hotel/ parking lot (which was free). The hotel is right off the parkway so location is decent and down the road you’ll find places to eat (Dennys, a diner, McDonalds).

The facilities were brand new. The staff was friendly but the hotel seemed a bit understaffed. One person had to leave the front desk to attend to the complimentary breakfast needs and come to my room for a minor maintenance issue.
