The hotel was in a neighborhood of crackheads and drunks, hanging in and around the property. The hotel looked terrible, it looked dirty, the windows were filthy and blinds looking at the blinds from the outside was filthy as well. it has the appearance of a place where hookers/prostitutes may go to sleep with someone for quick money. The place looked nothing like the pictures that we saw online. The front desk clerk was rude and nasty, because I refused to stay in such horrible conditions especially with my granddaughter and I was from out of town.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Travel Inn Atlanta was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn other travelers. From the moment I arrived, I noticed the hotel was in a very isolated area that made me feel uncomfortable, especially when driving through the surrounding neighborhood at night. While the front desk clerk was not rude, he was not welcoming or friendly, and I did not feel like my business was appreciated. When I entered my room, I was immediately hit with a strong, unpleasant odor. The room gave the impression that it had not been properly cleaned or maintained in a very long time. At first glance it looked acceptable, but when I accidentally dropped my phone charger behind the bed, I discovered old food, dirt, and heavy dust buildup that had clearly been there for quite some time. It was one of the most unsanitary things I've seen in a hotel room. The shower was another major disappointment. The hot water barely worked, and the water pressure was extremely weak, making it difficult to take a proper shower. The biggest issue, however, was the environment outside the hotel throughout the night. There was constant activity involving people going in and out of vehicles, loud disturbances, and behavior that made me feel unsafe. I was unable to get any meaningful sleep because I did not feel comfortable or secure. I had a 14-hour drive the following day, and staying awake all night because of the conditions was bad 😞
