Hallway trash cans overflowing, nothing like the pictures, strong smell of tobacco. The staff member that helped us was kind and helpful, the property itself was just not what was expected.

The shower had someone's hair all over it. Tv wouldn't connect to service so I could watch TV. Didn't use the covers brought my own. The staff were amazing. I didn't want to bother them with small inconveniences. Overall just for the night it was ok. Will stay again if I have to

They treat the property poor because of the neighborhood and it’s not fair. All people deserve clean rooms, maintenance and regular upkeep of hotel. The skeleton staff here does their best and clearly need help however, it seems like upper management isn’t trying to hire anyone.

The room was clean and the air conditioning was comfortable, but the smell of cigarettes and urine in the room and hallways was terrible; furthermore, the entrance felt unsafe due to the many homeless people outside.

Good: rooms are spacious, vending machines were well-stocked, staff was helpful, parking was plentiful Not-so-good: refrigerator was leaking and water was pooling underneath it, AC wasn't putting out cold air, room had zero trash receptacles, sink was clogged and pipes under sink needed repairing

The night shift gentleman with the golds and super tall is amazing and honestly should be the hotel manager. I travel intown to Decatur alot And this is my go to hotel cause of my dogs being welcomed with 0 issues and the gentle at night. He's so helpful and willing to assist in any way possible. So a huge thank you and shout out to him , and to motel 6 for making my travels easier and stress free. I do wish they had a pool tho, but that's my only complaint oh and alot the doors I can open with no key just a good shoulder lean and a little force
