Minor plumbing leak in the bathtub area and only 1 of 2 elevators was functioning but the property was comfortable and the rooms and beds were excellent. Extremely friendly and competent staff was always at the ready to assist.

Excellent all-the-way. If you stay here I recommend a Deluxe King room on the 7th (top) floor, as they have delightful high ceilings. Took off 1 star for Amenities because the swimming poll was closed. September is perfectly hot enough in greater ATL to keep pools open until Oct. 1. It's just maintenance, after all... not like they employ a lifeguard or anything.

The hotel is about 40 years old but very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Patty in the restaurant and the front desk staff. The breakfast sandwiches were great as was all the food we had at the Hilltop restaurant. However, there were several issues that detracted from our comfort. Our tissue and toilet paper were not refilled adequately, the room smelled damp, and there was insufficient light in the room because one of the lamps did not work. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the tub had mold in some areas embedded in the caulk. Also, the sides of the tub at the bottom curved upwards excessively and there was no rubber mat in it, making it difficult for an elderly person to maintain balance. There was only one towel hook on the bathroom door and no towel bars on the walls, and the shower faucet required excessive force to turn off completely. Finally, the parking lot was not well lit.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room and public areas were very clean and in good working order. That said, the hotel is a bit dated... The water pressure in the shower though fine, was not great. And, the shower floor itself was a bit slippery. Also, plug locations were sparse and not optimally positioned for use of the iron or charging one's phone.

The staff was great, very helpful and kind. Our room was clean and comfortable. The fitness center is very well equipped. Parking, although plentiful, is not free. You pay a nightly fee. All in all, would definitely stay again.

Rooms were clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and conducive to a good night's rest. My only suggestions for changes involve the bathroom setup. Since the vanity is small, a hand towel rack would be nice, as well as a soap pump instead of a bar in a tray, and the exposed pipes and wires under the sink could use a little camouflage.
