Gotel was amazing! Pool view from roof was 1 of a kind. Breakfast was fantastic and included. Anything purchased for meals or drinks was over priced. The proximity to town was pretty good...about a 20 min walk but the neighborhood was a little sketchy. Lots of abandoned buildings and rough but loved the experience and the hotel was amazing

It's a huge hotel chain, but pretty old building. The location is great as it's half way to the port, half way to the old time. I would recommend getting a bigger room. Breakfast was nice, with a view - unfortunately same thing everyday. I was impressed by the level of rooms the hotel is managing. Great services offering, beautiful infinite pool but not sure if we will return to the same hotel next time we'll be in Athens.

Nice hotel, a little overpriced for what it was but we were given a large room and it is in a great location. Unfortunately, we waited over 45 minutes to check in and they only had two staff on at reception and they were dealing with difficult guests which made the experience quite unpleasant. Additionally, we left early at 5am and found that there was even a line to check out at this hour which suggests that they should schedule more staff during the busy summer periods. I've never waited this long to check in, especially for a 5 star hotel. Sub par experience

The roof top pools are simply Amazing. Stunning and worth the stay. The rooms are very large and clean and nicely designed. Room service was wonderful. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that check in and checkout is very long and unorganized. I waited 3 times in line for half an hour each time to check in. We arrived at 10:30 am and I ended up getting my room at 3:30 pm! They did check our luggage and the free shuttle downtown was nice but a ten minute walk from main attractions. I would stay there again and highly recommend the rooftop pools if you can expect to wait a long time to check in. Spa facilities in the basement are also a nice touch.

The hotel was luxurious, the staff was so helpful from bringing our bags up to our room, and holding them for us until check in. The view from the rooftop was breathtaking. Would stay agin!
