Pros: Quiet, comfortable beds, new flooring, nice staff, great water pressure, looks like they are working on updating the property. Cons: we stayed 3 nights and there was no room servicing, very old towels, furniture needs updating, outside of the property looks sketchy.

Decent place but dangerous shower.

It is a decent and comfortable place for the money. However, the vinyl covered shower/bathtub is slippery and there are no grab bars. This is a huge risk.

We reserved the room . Went to check in. No attendant at desk. Rang ring doorbell 3 times. Waited in the lobby 20 minutes. No one ever came. The place smells clean and looks nice but couldn't actually stay or fill our reservation since no one ever came to check us in

The room and property was nice but our room was not fully cleaned when we got there. Food was left in the refrigerator and cupboard from previous guests. Floors were not swept as well. Probably just an oversight but other than that it was quiet and the the beds were comfortable.

Beds were clean and comfortable. TV worked on some channels. No phones to contact desk. Sadly, the room needed new drapery… as it was so damaged and only hanging on half the hooks. If we had a question or a need, we had to leave a note by walking down to the desk.. They came when they read my note quite quickly, because I asked for a broom for the spider nest in the corner ceiling by my bed. They need much better housekeeping. But it was located conveniently to the quilt show, which why we were in town. (The whole town could use more motels.) If it is family owned, then, each family member was very friendly. We could smell marijuana, but probably from the smoking area outdoors. We were grateful for a well functioning ice machine. It was warm and humid humid weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at Surrey Inn. The room was clean and everything worked properly. The bed was comfortable. It's a very sweet little place. The only thing I disliked was the air conditioner was loud. But it kept us cool enough.
