“Very nice traditional hotel, has a lot of character. The rooms are a tad dated but fit the atmosphere of the building. Really comfy beds and we had memory foam pillows on a big bed. It is also a restaurant but we didn't eat here, but it smells very nice. Would very much stay here again for the price”

“Because we booked with Expedia they tried to charge us for two days parking, we refused to pay extra and reluctantly they retracted the parking charge. They said if we booked on the Ibis website there would be no parking fee.”

“Delightful inn with clean, comfortable en-suite bedrooms, lovely bar / restaurant with cask ales and delicious meals, all supported by friendly, helpful staff.”

“The Abbey Hotel was an amazing place to stay. Would highly recommend for anyone. Accessible for people with disabilities as well. Great reception staff. 10/10 would stay again.”

Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area.”

In all we had a lovely trip . A very enjoyable time. Many thanks to the staff from me and my family . Thank you”

“The accommodation, though clean, is very tired. The leatherette headboard was worn and needed replacing. The television reception was poor with no signal at times. The bathroom suite was old with mildew around the bath. The restaurant and bar were comfortable and traditional.
