The property could definitely be maintained better but for price, its a no-frills spot in a good location. Also clean bedding which is the most important thing.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, the cable cars, and many great restaurants and attractions. The hotel was spotless, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job every day. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a huge variety of fresh and delicious options to suit every taste. It was the perfect way to start each day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We also enjoyed the beautiful outdoor courtyard and pool area, which was a great place to relax after exploring San Francisco. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

clean & good view

Very convenient location, especially with the wonderful, free shuttle service. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The HVAC could have been better, because room was a bit hot without the fan on, but the fan was aggressive and cold even at the lowest setting. Loved the microwave, fridge, and good glassware. The coffee in the lobby was truly excellent. We did not have breakfast, but it looked wonderful. I will stay here again in a heartbeat! Also, very cozy, homey vibe throughout.

This hotel was clean and the beds soft. However, there is no restaurant or snacks or drinks available. No easily accessed convenience store or fast food open late. Both nights I was in San Francisco I returned to hotel late and had water and some peanut butter crackers for dinner. It is hard to find restaurants in places you are unaccustomed to, especially when you are relying on Uber. A soft drink machine would have been good. My sister and I are 74 and 80 yrs old. Walking around at 10:30pm looking for an eatery of some kind was not an option. When I asked at the desk if we could order food delivery the clerk acted as if this was sacrilege. The response I got was "There might be a Japanese place still open you could walk to" that may still be open. Would you tell your mother or grandmother to go roaming around at 10pm looking for an open eatery?????
