Sparkling clean room. Fab location with lovely view from the balcony. Super comfy bed and duvet. Nice breakfast. The best thing about Hotel Present Encore Mieux is the staff. They really do care about their guests and are incredibly kind and super responsive to guests. The nicest staff I've met in all my travels. This is a unique place to stay and I recommend without hesitation.

This is a cool, trendy little hotel. Interior completely redone in an old building. Bright colors, modern bathrooms, and the coolest, funkiest elevator: "beam me up!" Very helpful staff.

We weren’t aware of the elevator tube when we first arrived. The front desk is not staffed and you get in by receiving a key code to your phone. Once we got that organized, it was fine. We were on the third floor and my travelling companion was wonderful about lugging stuff up three long curvy flights of stairs. Once she reached the top, she realized there was an elevator tube that we could use. It was for one person only and it was a tight squeeze with luggage. It felt like you were in a vacuum canister. But it did the trick and certainly helped from having to lug suitcases up all those flights. It would’ve been helpful to know that that was available ahead of time. The staff who were there for breakfast were terrific and the breakfast was delicious. They were able to provide us with some useful information for our stay in this pretty little town.

21st Century Hotel Shines in Ancient Town

A modern, brightly colored & well-located hotel, this place sprang from an older building & stepped into the 21st century with a bang. Warm provencal yellows, oranges & reds exude sunny southern France. Upbeat & friendly hosts add to the charm. Site has bar & summer only restaurant on the ground floor. Perfect location basically right in the center of historic Arles. Staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was great with home made granola and jam. Arles is a beautiful city well worth a visit. If you arrive by car, just remember that Wednesday is market day and you shouldn’t park on the lots they use for the market. Oh well…

The only negative was the checking in process. I tried 4-5 times to check in using their system. Finally, a staff person arrived to help (Marie) and we really appreciated her efforts. I showed her what happened so she could see the system in place kept telling me my code was "invalid" and would not let me into the building. Unfortunately it took a great deal of time and effort before Marie was able to get us into our room. I did send feedback about many other places we have stayed throughout Europe and UK where it has worked out better and easier for the building code to be sent to the official email of the guest on the day of arrival. However, after finally getting into our room, we really liked the room, the tiles, the amenities, and the balcony (which we didn't get to enjoy due to lateness with train difficulties). The breakfast and staff person were perfect the next morning. The location is great for us as we arrive by train which is within walking distance and the hotel is in the midst of the main town. Great value for us.

Excellent new place, very friendly staff that made sure my stay was a good one with very good english and suggestions in town. Very close to the train station and right in the old town about two minutes walk to the Arles Amphitheatre and walkable to wherever you wish to visit there. There is a lot to see in Arles, and a great old town to wander in, so it is better to spend a couple nights, rather than a quick day trip or as part of a tour. All services were not fully up and running yet, but will be for the summer season. In the winter though, wear thick socks or slippers as the concrete floors can be cold.

No reception on out-of-season Saturday evening

We hadn't expected the hotel to be unstaffed. The automatic door entry instructions were fairly clear and there was a contact number on the door if we hadn't got in. But it wasn't welcoming on a cold winter's night. Everything was clean and stylish inside. The room was heated but the temp control seemed limited. Coffee machine was not intuitive and that & kettle were in an unlit cupboard, so we used the torches on our phones.

Surprising modern hotel in the heart of old Arles!

The Hotel Present is located in the old city of Arles, but has a modern, almost art deco interior! Guillaume-the host- is fantastic and knowledgeable about things to do. The hotel is v eco friendly and has a well stocked bar!
