“My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute. The only thing I would say is that it gets very warm in the room and I like to sleep in colder rooms so that was my only complaint about the stay. Everything else was a 10/10. I would...

“With only relatively minor issues, the stay was great. It was our first time at this location; we usually stayed at the Red Lion that is now burned down. Cost was pretty close to the same but the place is much better than Red Lion ever was: Same breakfasts, cleaner rooms, somewhat better Internet. The downside in comparison was a smaller pool and a hottub that is currently in the middle of remodel; the jets have to be turned on by staff because it is currently powered by a wet/dry vac.
