“They never cleaned my room once and I was there for 7 days....I had to go ask for toilet paper and towels........some staff were nice others rather curt....I found the food awful only ate there 3 times that was enough for me did not like the fact you had to go up to the bar order food pay for before I sat down...........Now I have left a necklace there by mistake I have phoned my cousin in the same town and asked her to check with them in room 108 we will see if it has been had back to the...

“No restaurant closed got a voucher for seamill hydro should be telling you this when you book hotel”

“The hotel is lovely, we stayed overnight for a wedding in Room 27. The room was clean and fresh, the bathroom was renovated well and was modern. Unfortunately the bed is probably the worst we had ever slept in, we both had a terrible sleep. Two very uncomfortable single mattresses of slightly differing heights pushed together on a divan base, not at all what you would expect at over £200 a night. A mattress topper probably would have solved this issue however it was midnight when we got to bed...

“A fabulous hotel that goes the extra mile to make guests feel valued and comfortable. Extremely doggy friendly, with separate zones for guests unaccompanied by their 4 legged companions. Direct access to the beach, Ayshire Coastland Path further enhance the experience. I would definitely highly recommend The Waterside Hotel. Thank you”

“small , well equipped, we'll worth the visit”

“We just had one night here before catching the early ferry to Isle of Arran and it was perfect. Good location with allocated parking spot. Easy check in with clear instructions upfront. Well equipped room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. We had room 6 at the back, which was very quiet. Also convenient for eating out in town. Would recommend.”

“La experiencia ha sido nefasta ya que teníamos una reserva de dos habitaciones , y por la mañana de ese mismo día nos lo cancelaron sin entender el motivo ”

“El hotel está muy bien pero está enmedio de casas no hay comercios”

“Si necesitas tomar un vuelo muy temprano, es una excelente opción porque está justo enfrente del aeropuerto. Te toma 2 minutos llegar.”

“Nice hotel. Restaurant & bar are very nice with decent food offerings and the staff were great. Very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean and really appreciated the extra touches like robe & slippers and room service. Decent coffee machine in the rooms too! Only thing I’d say is some of the rooms have a little dated decor, but are well equipped and clean with a comfortable bed and loads of little extras. So for the price & location… great value and definitely will stay...

“room was spotless ,hotel gardens where beautiful, dinner and breakfast was amazing.reason for 3 star rating was given due to reception staff not dealing with our complaint of having no hot water when showering before dinner and was not much better the following morning.”

“The accommodation is “Airb&b style”, so no service on site. However when I had a problem with access I got immediate attention on the phone. The room was reasonably clean, bedlinen and towels spotless. Shower, hot water etc. working fine, shower gel supplied, kettle available with plenty of tea and coffee. A wee bit shabby outside of the room but I gather they are still working on it. Cleaner/maid friendly. Value for money and I suspect but don’t know for sure that it will improve...

“Excelente desayuno, personal muy amable.”

“The room was lovely and finished really well. There were lots of nice touches in the room to make for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed both. Would definitely return if in the area.”
