This was a great hotel to stay at. As always, they do have the best cookies. That said, the hotel is in a convenient location, staff is wonderful, and overall clean! The only thing I could gripe about are the pillows. Great bed, bad pillows. If you’re someone who likes a very firm pillow, maybe bring your own. It was an awesome hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

Double Tree by Hilton in Appleton, Wisconsin is very conveniently located to the highway. A variety of restaurants are near to the hotel. Check-in and check-out procedures were easy. However, some updates need to be done in the rooms. Carpet seemed worn and dirty and shower had areas that looked like mold. Otherwise there were no other concerns. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend this property. cC

my stay was a short one night stay - and really, shorter than that with going out to dinner with family and a very early flight the next morning. Laura at the front desk/check-in was great. i arrived very early (before 12 noon) for check-in - she was able to get me into a room quickly. took down my need for a taxi the next morning (shuttle starts at 5, but i needed a ride at 4:30). confirmed pick up later that afternoon with Brian via text message. only other connection was the bar/restaurant upon returning from dinner. only stayed a short time due to the early flight, but bar staff were great... room and bed were great also. will book again when i return to Appleton

The room was spacious and well-equipped. Towels were lacking; we had to ask for additional. The pool area and hot tub area were okay. We were disappointed that breakfast was not included with our stay. Watch the fine print with Expedia. Lesson learned.

We always stay at Double Tree. The service is great and is very clean place. But this time when we checked in the guy was not friendly at all. I tried to talk to him but he just ignored me and gave me my room key. Not impressed.
