Great room, shower & dinner, close to airport

We had a great stay and it was the perfect option before our night flight. The room was large, clean and cozy with a balcon with nice views and the shower great with hot water. The owner was very nice and airport transfer (one way) included. The dinner was absolutely delicious.

Good overnight before a flight

Great place to stay near the airport before a flight. Affordable dinner, free continental breakfast, and a free aiport shuttle. Only issue was the twin bed didn't have a mosquito net, and the electric went off so the fan didn't work. So, we had to choose open windows with mosquitos, or hot room with no mosquitos.

Lovely quaint place individual entrepreneur I try to support the economy and people there. Not a whole lot of extra amenities and Madagascar shut off their electricity a lot but if you want a wonderful island vibe this is the place. I’ve never been woken up by a turkey before but they have a pet turkey and he loves to talk to you.!!!! I made sure it was a pet and not their next dinner😜😜🦃

There is no shuttle in spite of my being told that I would be met at the airport. Take a taxi! They only provide a free shuttle TO the airport. The place is very clean and the bed comfortable. The smell, however, of fowl poop permeants everything. The staff are all nice. The location isn't conducive to wandering anywhere.

Overnight near hotel.

Airport pickup was excellent after a late flight arrival, helpful at arrivals lounge and arranged car straight to hotel. Organised very early basic breakfast for next day. Bed and room were clean but bathroom needs maintenance, sink not draining and broken towel rail. Bed ok but pillows lumpy. Overall what we need for short overnight stay. Fit for purpose.

A little piece of heaven

Fabulous hotel, fabulous hosts nothing too much trouble, very friendly and welcoming. Even gave me some milk for my tea in my room. Food was spectacular. Zebu steaks out of this world. Enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for return journey.

Poor communication. No email address or phone number. No pickup from airport as agreed. No electricity from 8:45 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. Lots of crowing and gobbling; place smells of turkey poop. Many different levels of walking surfaces, giving ample tripping opportunities.

Misleading: the description of the property's amenities included free WiFi, blow dryer, air conditioning and heating. The truth is that the WiFi reception was good only in the middle of the pool patio; the ancient blow dryer blew warmish air, and there was no A/C or heating (note: the temperatures were at 50F at night). Also, the shower was unusable as it had no door/curtain and was quite grimy/rusty; the bidet didn't work, the lighting in the room was insufficient and gloomy. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly (some only spoke Malagasy), and this place would do in a pinch if you were desperate. I would not recommend this place, would have rather spent twice as much somewhere else.

The good news is that Expedia made right this problematic stay. The bad news is that the hotel fell down in several key areas: The free airport shuttle never materialized, despite the hotel confirming. The room had no AC, though the listing said it did. Other minor issues: room had a smell; room was dark and one fan didn't work; "included" breakfast included only coffee and bread (eggs available for extra). It was also difficult to contact the hotel, as their telephone number according to expedia and web was disconnected. (Fortunately, Expedia was able to give me their email address, though, as noted, it proved to be in vain regarding the airport shuttle). That said, Expedia was GREAT
