The pictures look great but in reality its abit shabby with alot of snags like holes in walls, electrics hanging out, missing carpet. The room smelt of cigarettes. It was clean enough but abit rough around the edges but then I realised I only paid £25 so what can I expect. Breakfast ok but nothing fancy. It seemed like it was a hostel for men? Staff were lovely and helpful and I liked the area it was in not far from the castle. Its a very local, colorful shopping area, great for bargains. Ankara is a great city though and you get an amazing view of a beautiful mosque.
