Room was modernized/refreshed, clean and comfortable. Restaurant provided great food options. Location was great for downtown activities. Rooms provided full blackout curtains for summer nights with long daylight hours. Please be aware, the hallways are hilariously long, never seen such a long hotel before! Also, the hotel is close to the railroad station, so you will hear train horns over night, and during the day will hear small prop planes passing by

There are precious few options for accommodations in Anchorage. If you are looking for a clean property in a convenient location, WildBirch checks the boxes. They also have an excellent restaurant that I would definitely recommend. The staff is very very friendly.
