The hotel was not only great but its a great hotel, it is in Amsterdam a safe haven as thankfully near the ferry port and across the river to Amsterdam Centraal. There where you need to go is not far away.

The hotel had a fun musical vibe. With record players in the room and dance lights in some of the elevators. The hotel was very conveniently located close to the free ferry that took you across to the centraal train station and access to the city. One of the best parts was the cool restaurant at the top of the hotel called The Moon. It revolved around slowly to view the river and other city views. The food and staff were great. Not too expensive either. The other restaurants there were good too and had a casual, fun vibe as well. When we checked in they offered us a beverage right at check in. We had Heineken! Great experience at The Sir Adam.

This hotel had a few benefits that were important as a traveler and it was lackluster in other ways. It has a great location and is easy to reach from the main train station. The free ferries that run 24 hours keep it simple and easy to reach the central part of the city while keeping the chaos at bay for your stay. That said, the rooms are SMALL, and while we paid up front to upgrade, i felt staff was trying to have us pay more on arrival for the upgraded room. The cleaning staff does a great job but the desk staff is slow and awkward. The building has some rooftop activity that was NEVER explained by staff. Overall the stay was fine but I feel there are better hotels available.
