Staff were helpful in providing infos with train and point of interest and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was so so. The breads and pastries were good. Maybe a little more choice on fruits and proteins. I like the free daily bottled water.

Location was perfect. Well equipped and good sized rooms with balconies. Close to all attractions and eateries. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Comfortable bed and bedding. Great bathroom and shower. Recommend highly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This hotel is perfect. Very comfortable and spacious bedroom, separate from a medium size living room with 2 seats and ample space for having 2 large bags + 1 carry on fully open. Bathroom is very spacious too, with enough shelving space for all toiletries. The room was cleaned every day, courtesy water bottle replaced and coffee pods restocked. 10/10 Location is top, with many restaurants and coffee shops around, busy area but zero noise in the room at night. Everything is within walking distance so you can explore all of downtown Amsterdam 100% would go back to this hotel

The hotel is very convient and walkable to many highlights of Amsterdam. It's right along transit and a quick tram ride to Amsterdam Centraal. Many restaurants in the area, however the hotel does not have a restaurant itself - only a bar and the option of breakfast. (Note: the Expedia perk of a discount for food & beverage is a moot point, as I learned, since they don't serve food at the establishment.) Despite being on a bar/club street, the room was decently quiet at night. However, housekeeping could be improved, as my room had quite a bit of dust and hair on the floor & headboard, as well as an uncleaned desktop.

Helpful and attentive staff. Loved the history behind the hotel and room size. Excellent on/off spot for the tram. Location allows for access to many sites and restaurants. Spotless rooms and property. A beer at the onsite restaurant is must. Will definitely visit again.

NH Shiller's location on Rembrant Square is ideal for travelers as most everything is within walking distance. The tram also stops frequently for Central Station. Our room's view was spectacular (aside from the jumbo Escape Lounge screen directly across the square, which does get switched off at night). The hotel's interior is warm and charming. The breakfast buffet was good, though not icluded. Overall a great choice for our 5 nights stay.

The staff at the front desk was so helpful with directions. Across the street is the tram stop which was so good. Ideal location for walking. If you get a room facing the square in warm months, you will hear the kids partying through the night. It is part of the charm. Request a room not facing the square for less noise but you will miss the view..
