First, the pluses-staff was helpful and they had a very good breakfast. However, they put us in room 2111 right above the street on second floor and there was crowd noise the entire night. Toilet was in a small corner of the bathroom. Most importantly 1/3 of the mattress seemed either soft or broken or the bedspring was broken so 1/3 of the surface was on a sloping angle to the floor. However, we were just too tired to switch rooms but for heaven’s sake- never stay in room 2111

Absolutely lovely staff, very accommodating. Because my mum has mobility issues and breakfast was at level -1 (no lift downstairs,just upstairs) we were able to have breakfast at another hotel very close by. Room very clean, big comfortable bed, however no window per se (led into a poorly lit inner courtyard), but I think again this room was chosen for us as it was the most accessible one. Hence room was very dark. All in all, really affordable accommodation in an excellent location close to the central train station and city centre / canals.

Just overall a very good stay. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Even though the hotel is old they really worked to keep it in excellent condition. Would definitely stay here next year when I come back
