Even if it is true that there facilities are still quite old, overall the hotel and the room completed our expectations based on the average price of the rooms in Amsterdam and the location. The best is the hotel location, very well located in the city center. We can appreciate the efforts that the owners made to improve the facilities, mainly renewing the bathrooms (at least in our room located in the third floor). Quite comfortable even if the fournitures are not luxury ones. Very useful and helpful welcome by the stuff in the reception. As a recommendation, but the owners are probably already aware of that, it will be nice to renew the old wood windows to improve the noise isolation. But overall, for a short stay of 1-2 nights, its a very correct hotel based on the price that they propose.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was small but cozy and the sheets were clean. The location was nice. The building was older but it is as expected and added to the atmosphere of the location. Super convenient to the food, museum area and the metro is also close by. And of course the cute cat!

Very old building with outdated furniture and amenities. The lift/elevator is extremely small. The stairs are very small and steep, kind of risky. The staffs are very nice and helpful.

The hotel is so convenient it’s literally two stops on the Metro From Central Station. You walk across the bridge and you’re there . The location is brilliant . Museums just 5 minutes walk down the road. The canal boats across the road . Shops and food places just 2 minutes walk . The only think I would say is bring ear plugs . It can be little noisy .

We enjoyed very much the location, walkable to many of the main attractions and to the local areas. Also very near from a Supermarket, Tram and bus stop.
