this hotel has been updated recently and looks very nice. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The key self pick up was easy to use. Would definitely stay again, especially with the price being lower than most in the area.

This quaint little hotel was easy to check in and out of. The room was very clean except for a little gravel dirt on the carpet. We felt perfectly safe letting my baby crawl on the floor. Would definitely stay here again!

The Trail Inn was cute and charming right in the center of amana. You could walk to all the shops and restaurants near by to the cutest German stores. The rooms were clean and well kept and staff was attentive if there were any questions.

I was very happy with my stay at the Trail Inn in Amana. The location is perfect. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is walkable. My room was incredibly clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The air conditioner was top-notch! It actually went down to 60 degrees!!!! Because the heat index was over 100, I definitely used it. Would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel has been updated and is very nice. I was impressed with how clean it was. We had everything that we needed and at a great price! They don't have a staff on site or have breakfast, but we chose to eat at the bar that is close and had great food, or there is a bakery close that is wonderful.

First time at this property. Rate was great, ample parking, room was very clean. Mini-frig and microwave very useful, given that area restaurants were closed early on Sunday night. Interesting concept with no manned front desk but remote access via a tablet in the lobby to connect with support personnel. Tailored to guests with a smart phone, check-in and key issuance is also possible for those without one. Everything about this process worked exceptionally well. Would definitely stay here again!

The remodel was very chic and the property is quiet and cute! However, it is very basic. I wouldn’t give it the nine-star rating that was guest-advertised. It didn’t appear to be very well cleaned — sheets and chair were very dirty (or at-least stained). When I reached out about the sheets (which looked like recent bodily fluids and not a stain), I was assured they most definitely had been changed and that the chair was just one thing that needed to be replaced since the change in ownership. I think I also remember some body hair? My expectation was new sheets, so I could have some peace of mind. However, I just had to sleep on them with my baby. Pretty disappointing in that regard. I would have even changed them, myself!

Impressed that the refrigerator has a freezer section with its own door. And the shower head is really good. But the drain in the tub is slow, so you might be taking a bath after all. And if the door closes on its own, it doesn’t latch. You have to pull it shut to lock the room.

What a nice spot. The check in was completely automated - but very simple and much more pleasant than a couple previous places we encountered. This one was simple - you get a message with a code and you type that code on a screen and a little box opens with your key. It’s just like using an Amazon locker or similar. It was super quiet. Very clean. Comfortable, and really in a nice spot walkable to the whole village. The room was well appointed, the AC worked well, and the only staff I interacted with was cleaning staff the next day. They were super friendly. It was a good price, and parking was easy.
