Hidden gem!

Don’t let the drab exterior fool you, the rooms are newy refurbished in a classy and comfirtabke way. The restaurant/bistro features Norwegian classics as well as classics such as fish’n’chips and burgers. They have a kids’ menu as well. The staff are very helpful and service minded, even under pressure as they where when we stayed here. Will definitely be back on our next road trip!

Moderne hotel i interessant område

Hotellet ligger let tilgængeligt ved hovedvejen direkte overfor museet om skaberen af filmen "Bjergkøbing Grand Prix" og det tilhørende univers. Værelserne er fine og nydelige, maden er ok. Generelt er personalet venligt og imødekommende. Det var kun i forbindelse med indtjekningen, at vi oplevede problemer. Der var booket to værelser til tre voksne personer. Medarbejderen fandt desværre kun det ene af værelserne og prøvede at få os til at tage ét værelse til tre personer. Det endte med, at jeg måtte betale for to værelser ved indtjekning.

Langt unna en inner-tier.

Mye har forandret seg sist vi var på dette stedet (nye eiere). Fikk en opplevelse av at pengene mine var viktigere enn å ha meg som gjest. Kaffemaskinen var avslått for kvelden, ingen koke-/trakte-muligheter på rommet. Plakater i frokostrommet signaliserte negative holdninger: Vesentlig billigere å kjøpe seg en fersk baugete på Rema1000 ennå kjøpe seg et par brødskiver på hotellet. Mye plasttuber til frokost. Stedet gav inntrykk av fravær av en type raushet som gjør at man får lyst til å komme igjen. Så vi holder oss heretter unna Frich-hotellene
