“A lovely stay in Alnwick in September 2026. We had a large room with a view of the castle.
Breakfast was very good as were the evening meal options. Staff were all friendly, helpful and seemed very competent.”

“Second stay here. Fab place, full of character and quirkiness
Great location!
Great staff, though could do with a couple more as only 3 working in a very busy pub...and they worked hard and with a smile 😃
Seemed a little less loved this time, sadly, like a bit of paint was needed, but still a great place!”

“Tha staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is well positioned for access to A1 and local bus route to Town.
The room was perfect with plenty of room and an extra large bed.
We had dinner in the hotel there was plenty of choice and all freshly cooked, excellent.”

“The room was in need of updating, worn and dirty carpets, shabby draperies.”

“Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon.
