Unique and beautifully kept bed and breakfast Bev and David have transformed their place into a delightful restful comfortable bed and breakfast We so enjoyed staying there our room was spacious and the bed super compfy Our bathroom was lovely too we couldn’t fault anything Breakfast was full of variety and delicious beautiful gardens and lovely friendly hosts we had a great stay

David and Bev are really great hosts, and they couldn’t have done more to help us enjoy our stay. A home from home with a very comfortable bed and thoroughly delicious breakfasts! Really great location and we would definitely stay again.

Everything was excellent with lovely, friendly hosts. Extensive breakfast menu, all locally sourced and excellently cooked. Great location for town centre shopping, bars and restaurants (7mins walk), also for the castle and gardens. Can highly recommend this property.

Absolutely wonderful property and stay. Possibly the cleanest place we've ever stayed and the breakfast was superb. Incredibly warm and friendly welcome and service. Great location only 5 minutes walk into the bars and restaurants (go to Sonnet if you can't get a booking and like fine dining) Just stay here. You won't regret it

I'll open with this. This accommodation is fantastic, simple as that. It is not a hotel, it is much better. This is a private home that allow you to stay. The welcome when you get there is lovely, so warm and open and the couple who own it can't do enough for you to make your stay comfortable. Gorgeous room, fab bathroom and breakfast included with so many options. What they don't shout about is their local knowledge which is vast. Places to eat, to visit and to explore. Not just in Alnwick but in the wider area, totally invaluable. Just a lovely, lovely stay. Would we go back, heck yes at the drop of a hat.

Wonderful accommodation and a lovely host.

A wonderful stay in a lovely unit which was exactly as the photos showed. David (the owner) met us to show us the parking and explained the layout of the space. The breakfast choice was amazing and served at a time to suit us. Extremely comfortable and walking distance down to the town.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. There were lots of little extra touches from tea and cake when we arrived to glasses of sherry in our room. They had thought of everything and it was an easy walk to everything we wanted to visit in Alnwick. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

The room and bathroom were spotless. Really comfertable room with everything we needed. Huge bathroom. Great location in Alnwick. Owners were lovely and gave us everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommended.

Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming, with good local knowledge. The accommodation was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, excellent shower in a large private bathroom (and a bath too). N&M Short Break.

We had a lovely two night stay in the Groom's Loft at the Coach house, the room had everything we needed and the bathroom is large with both a bath and large shower. Dave and Bev are great welcoming hosts and the cup of tea and cake on arrival were most appreciated. Tasty breakfast with plenty choice and locally sourced ingredients. The house is in a ideal location and it was good to be able to park and walk into the town in about 15 minutes.

Perfect location. Very friendly greeting with tea & cake after a long journey. Everything provided that you could possibly need. Large bathroom with bath and powerful shower. Plenty of space including a table to eat breakfast and a seating area to read and watch tv. Immaculate throughout!

The property itself and the host and hostess were fabulous. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. It was walkable into Alnwick. The only problem is the back path from the house into Alnwick is rough and very uneven and is not lit. I have mobility issues and we made it both nights without any issues however I would have liked an easier walk.

Excellent quality accommodation.

Well situated quiet accommodation within easy walking distance of beautiful Alnwick. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Groom’s room which is upstairs in the owners home. It was spacious with a very comfy bed, a sofa, lovely quality furnishings and a table just outside the room where a perfect breakfast was served. David and Bev our hosts were so welcoming and have thought of everything. Absolutely no complaints as everything was top notch and we look forward to returning and hopefully stay in their Tack room which has an outside seating area.

I cannot say enough good things about The Coach House! Mr. David and his wife are so lovely and so kind (their homemade breakfasts are incredible as well!). We stayed in the Tack Room and it was perfect. It had everything we needed and was quite nice to return to every evening. The location was within easy reach of everything we wanted to do. I could probably go on and on about all of the things we loved, but I’ll just say that we highly recommend that others stay here. Our first experience in England was absolutely wonderful, and The Coach House played a great role in that!

Absolutely perfect guesthouse

Wonderful 2 night stay at the coach house in the tack room. The host David was extremely helpful especially when I got lost en route really appreciated his help. The room itself is immaculately clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a getaway. Such a welcome arrival with a pot of tea, fresh milk and cake. The breakfast was beautiful and there could not have been a better selection in just 2 days breakfasts we ate salmon and eggs, full breakfast, bacon sandwhiches, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, juice, toast - all cooked and served to perfection also delivered to room at exactly the requested time. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone considering a trip this way.
