The Hotel room was very clean considering its only 1* hotel. Air con was perfect in this HOT SUMMER Humid WEATHER. We were given a room with Balcony which was perfect. The Location of the hotel is very central, All the places you need to go is within few minute walk. I don’t usually stay in less than 4* hotel because i am so particular however after reading reviews and wanting to be in centre without paying an arm an leg i gave it a shot and was NOT disappointed. There is room service everyday too with fresh bed sheets and towels. Wifi however is very slow so that being the only disadvantage overall. I would definitely recommend and would stay if i am back in Alicante.

centrally located, well priced hotel in heart of Alicante... 5 minutes walk from the main promenade and surrounded by lots of good restaurants.. Street was quiet as hotel next to University admin building and one street away from pubs and clubs. Rooms are compact and well designed with all the amenities necessary.. bed comfortable and good hot showers.. Check in receptionist was dour but check out receptionist was friendly.

Great night in Alicante!

The hotel was lovely, room was a great size, very clean and even had a balcony which I wasn’t expecting. It was close to everything and the staff were very friendly.

Unlike other renowned hotel chains that have made COVID an opportunity to undercut services this one does not skim on room service. Rooms are small but facilities are very reasonable considering the price range. Location is right in the middle of Alicante so everything that maybe needed is at walking distance. Staff is helpful and affable.

Good place for a short stay

attentive friendly staff. Room was comfortable but could do with some cosmetic refurbishment. Door to shower would have been better as a sliding door rather than opening as water from the shower had clearly sprayed out and the lower section of the bathroom door and the surround had water damage. Bathroom/toilet area is best described as compact. Lighting good, wifi signal good, mattress quite firm but ok. Location excellent for shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.

Budget hotel

You get what you pay for. Rooms were clean and fresh looking and basic. The hotel is literally reception and rooms no other facilities. The only downside for me personally was I found it noisy, noise from people inside and from the outside. It did the jod though and in a great location

My recent experience at Hotel San Remo in Alicante was thoroughly enjoyable. First and foremost, the location of Hotel San Remo is fantastic. Situated in the heart of Alicante, it offers easy access to the city's main attractions, including the picturesque beaches, historic landmarks, and vibrant nightlife. The hotel's proximity to public transportation also made it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The accommodations at Hotel San Remo exceeded my expectations. My room wasn’t the largest, don’t let that put you off. Providing the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, with modern amenities. Overall, my experience at Hotel San Remo was very enjoyable. The combination of its prime location and good amenities made for lovely stay. I would highly recommend Hotel San Remo to anyone visiting Alicante and look forward to returning in the future.
