One night stay with family. Second time I was at this hotel but have stayed at many other hotels in Alghero prior to this one. I would characterise this hotel as probably the best option in central Alghero for those who are budget conscious. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and big enough, quiet hotel at night. Those who have shallow sleep like me will appreciate the shutters, which are very effective to keep out the morning sunlight. There is a bit to walk to get to where the movida is (piazza sulis and beyond) but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Breakfast is where I see room for improvement: options are limited and the breakfast room is rather tiny. It works for one night stays but may negatively affect the hotel experience for those staying for longer.

Good place to discover the city

The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center, however it's only a 20 min walk and the views during that walk are beautiful. We had a suite with two bedrooms. In our room the shower did not close completely, causing a bit of flooding on the floor. Also the pillows were quite hard. In our bedroom there was a very loud noise which we first thought to be the air-condition, however, it turned out to be the fridge.

Great hotel

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was really nice, clean, airy and large, my first shower was cold, I mentioned this to the receptionist who checked why, apparently I was meant to push a button on a control panel, all was good after that.

Outstanding Stay with Exceptional Service

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Piras in Alghero! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding – the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (and more). They were always available, extremely helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. The location is great too – close enough to explore Alghero easily, yet peaceful enough to enjoy some quiet time. What truly stood out, however, was the hospitality. Any request, big or small, was handled immediately and with a smile. It felt like being truly taken care of, which made our stay stress-free and unforgettable. I can’t recommend Villa Piras enough – if you are looking for excellent service, comfort, and a truly memorable experience in Alghero, this is the place to stay! A special thanks to Massimiliano for giving us the best experience and service!
