Great base to stay for entering the highlands. 30 mins from Glasgow.
Loch Lomond was great.
Town has sea life
10 min walk from hotel to the loch.
I would def come and stay again.
We had a great time at the queen of the loch. We had booked a twin room. Unfortunately, when we got into the room it was not arranged as a twin but the friendly staff fixed that right away. The location is great: close to the center and with shops and restaurants as well as the loch. We also really enjoyed the included breakfast (we had the full breakfast) and the atmosphere of the place which reminded me of a casual hotel in the US. The staff was always friendly and accommodating.
While the beds were clean, that was about the only positive aspect of our stay. The property itself is in disrepair and poorly maintained. In our room, there was a strip of metal drywall edging literally ripped off and left dangling from the wall, and the walls themselves were stained, grimy, and heavily scuffed. To make matters worse, our room was directly above the main entrance, making it loud and disruptive throughout the night. I would absolutely not stay at Queen of the Loch again and recommend looking elsewhere in the area.
Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids under 5yrs. Breakfast was very nice! The location gave us access to a lot of things around Loch Lomond (Faerie Trail was the kids favorite). Parking was convenient and the hotel is close to other restaurants. I would stay here again.
Rooms all good. Friendly helpful staff at reception and when we bumped into the cleaners near our room.
Natasha running the show at breakfast was great.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean on arrival and perfect for our needs. Will be back in the summer!

Liked: Staff & service
The room could definitely do with a makeover. Very tired looking and slightly shabby. The breakfast, however was good and the staff friendly and helpful
Had a lovely stay. Just one night. Very clean. Full breakfast next morning. Would definitely recommend. Only reason I didn’t give excellent 5 ⭐ hand soap was empty upon arrival you’d think that would be checked and topped up on a deep clean.
Room clean but wanted a twin and were given a double , the staff were great and changed it round for us. Went to the restaurant and there was a good choice of menu including a carvery which was good.
It was only about a five-minute walk from one of the Loch Lomond cruise tour companies, which made it really quick and easy to get to. The stay itself was comfortable and relaxing too!
