Vacations Close To Alexander Brest Planetarium

This has been my go to hotel the past few years visiting Jax. It’s convenient to the highway and restaurants in the area. Parking is sufficient and the onsite eating options are good. This year however i was disappointed with my room which was stuffy I’m assuming due to the carpet which is probably old. I changed rooms which helped slightly but was still noticeable. I ended up leaving 2 days early because the stuffiness made my allergies worse. My suggestion would be that they replace the carpet throughout the hotel. Other than that i still would recommend this hotel because of the location.

The room did not have a telephone, the Airconditioning did not work from 10:00 our second day throughout our stay on Weddings, the tub has a leak that is in need of repair, we laid towels down so it wouldn’t travel into the bedroom. Other than that it was a clean room with a nice ocean view.

Very clean. Great staff. Restaurant had a full menu and very helpful staff. Pool is big and great. The gym is larger than expected and had everything, even punching bag with gloves, yoga mats with balls, CrossFit equipment and so much. Beds and linens were very comfy. Location was convenient.

Airport shuttle was nice. Calling down for extra towels the next day took forever. The shower definitely has pink mold going on - we don’t fault them too much because it must be difficult because it’s so humid in Jacksonville. Guest laundry services was down.
