Stunning property in a stunning location. Amazing team, from dropping off the car through reception into the restaurants all amazing. Special shout out to the guys parking the cars they were amazing going the extra mile with waters, advice on where to go ect. Great Italian restaurant and breakfast. We had a fantastic stay.

Great property. It’s our second time and we enjoyed it again so much, The rooms are vast and airy, the decor is so Algarve, the bed is confortable, the pool is wonderful, the location is unbeatable,having a drink at AIR right by the beach was memorable. Dinner at sunset at PAPERMOON restaurant was delightful. The only complaint is that all the food us much too salty. Our group of 8 was unanimous. Super hotel but extremely salty food.

My husband and I had an overall good stay at W Algarve. The location is beautiful, the staff were warm and helpful, and the Whatever/Whenever team was especially responsive. Any request we made was handled promptly, which we really appreciated. That said, the property did not fully feel like a 5-star luxury resort to us. Our ocean-view room was pretty, but the view was more from the side than direct ocean-facing, which was not as clear from the website photos. We also had a shower leak into the toilet area when we checked in. It was fixed the next day, but this is something that ideally should have been caught before arrival. The bathroom is attractive but not very practical, especially the glass layout and mirror placement. Housekeeping was responsive with amenities, but small proactive touches would help. For example, if a guest repeatedly requests shower caps or vanity kits, it would be thoughtful to leave extras during housekeeping rather than requiring another call each day. We also waited quite a while for the buggy to the beach. In the Algarve heat, having more buggies circulating would make the experience much more comfortable. Food was a highlight. We especially loved Paper Moon, and also enjoyed Vino. Overall, the staff and setting were strong, but more attention to small details and personalization would make the experience feel more truly luxurious. We would consider returning, though it would not be our first choice among 5-star Algarve resorts.

Overall the experience was excellent. Really enjoyed the stay and made us feel at home. The Whatever/ Whenever team is amazing and they made our trip a memorable one. We wanted a quiet and relaxing holiday and we were pampered by all the Hotel staff. Every one of the staff were very friendly, always smiling and attending to our needs.

Thank you to the wonderful team at the W Algarve who made my solo birthday trip a wonderful one. They allowed me to check in early and had decorated the room with messages and even gave me a little sweet treat. Nothing was too difficult for them to sort out and they went above and beyond for me. The room was very big, clean and the bed very very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic!! One of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The spa facilities were great and I had a wonderful detox massage. I can’t wait to return with my husband and family. Thank you for making my trip.

The W Algarve delivered all it ‘said in the tin’ and then some. For those like me who are always skeptical when reviewing the hotel provided pictures, I can say that the rooms, the surrounding, the facilities, and the pleasant staff are exactly as described and portrayed. I needed a end of summer refreshing retreat and break for my family of five and it delivered from the moment we walked in to our final goodbyes! Perfect way to end the summer break. Thank you W!

It’s always exciting and a pleasure staying at W Hotels. What we have noticed however is the least available options for non-Pork eaters at breakfast. We believe there being perhaps options such as chicken/beef sausages as opposed to only Pork..?! The house keeping was fantastic, aside from staff moving one or two of my wife’s items from where she originally left them (Nothing majorly serious 🙂).. With that said, we had a wonderful experience at The W and would most definitely comeback should we ever have the opportunity to visit The Algarve at some point in the near future. Obrigado….
