Dear readers,
Let me start by giving you a very true review of this hotel. This is my story..
I booked to go to Alanya on 8th August with my 3 children, I ended up stranded at 4am because my hotel did not exist. This resulted in me having to book emergency accommodation. This is when I was introduced to Sun Vera hotel. I ran into the reception in a panic asking if I could check in early because of my situation. They immediately helped me.
The following day I was shocked because the hotel was run down a little and is in need of renovations. The food was very tasty, and I asked for cereal for my children and they accommodated this the next day. Management are aware of the issues and are trying their very best to improve the hotel.
However, that said, you could not meet nicer people whom are so eager to help in anyway. Me and my family were the only English people at the hotel but that did not matter one bit, everyone wanted to talk to us and did so the best they could or with Google translate. I had nothing to worry about ever because all I had to do was ask, staff even went to a pharmacy to get strepsils for my daughter when she was unwell.
By the end of my holiday we felt more like family. We danced traditional Turkish dancing almost every night which my children loved. It was cultural. I cried all the journey home.
Furthermore, we loved it so so much, me and my eldest returned a week later for another week.
I thank Sun Vera Hotel for all the beautiful memories.
