“Wonderful room..
No TV, which we knew, and that was a pleasure.
Staff very polite and helpful. Nothing seemed too much for them.
The Wi-Fi will be needed, if you want the internet, as poor reception.
Excellent breakfast to top it all.
Third visit, we'll be back again, maybe next year.
:)”

“Wonderful stay. Clean and with all the amenities you need. Great location. Privacy. Lovely pub with great food, super friendly. Had a small issue so we called Jonny who answered on the 2nd ring, talked us through the solution, and then gave us some tips on things to do. Great service. Highly recommend and we’ll be back in the autumn.”

“Self service check in, room could do with a bit of an update, paint peeling off the ceiling, we had to jam the door with a business card to stop it rattling in the wind, but it was good for what we paid for! It was cheap & cheerful! Clean bedding and comfy bed! Would we stay again?? Yes!!”

“The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful”

“This property is not a hotel. It is a pub with rooms to let. It is misleading to think of this as a hotel.
The beds were comfy and clean. The room itself was old fashioned and shabby with ripped carpets. The bathroom was appalling. No blind on the window which faced the village and had the toilet right next to it. The towel rail was over the toilet. The bathroom had a macerator which was really noisy, so you couldn't flush the toilet at night. The beds were made up incorrectly and we ended...

“The place goes by a different name so went passed it at first (spikes lodge) the man that met us at the reception we nice enough gave us a quick run down of things to no.
.pros and cons.
Cons : they do not serve food here now which was not advertised , so turned up hungry and nothing to eat was told there was a pub down the road Queens head ,which was nice food and the portions are big.
The worst sleep I have ever had the bed was so hard (even the pillows ... All of them)I am still in pain ,...

“A pleasant spacious ground floor flat with parking right outside in a quiet location . Very comfortable lounge, lovely new walk-in shower. Kitchen a bit basic. Would have preferred a summer weight duvet instead of 13.5 tog winter one provided in height of summer! However, happy to stay there again.”
