Very good size room although wear and tear on places, particularly the shower, which could be repaired. Had an issue with lights in the bathroom not switching off although this was dealt in a timely manner. Lots of staff standing around looking bored and not particularly friendly but that’s a minor issue. Bigger problem was the complete lack of signage and information on where to find restaurants, shops, pool, spa etc. as this is such a large hotel in multiple buildings, this would have been helpful

A great and very comfortable place to stay for a layover or a couple of days in Addis. The hotel and rooms present very high-end and are spotless and comfortable. The staff were a little aloof and not engaging ... but also not rude, just a neutral experience with the staff.

The gym was really really, really great. It’s hard to find a good gym overseas, but this one was really good. The food in the restaurants was really good and we ordered room service one night and it was excellent. I wish they had a better wine list but that’s being a little picky. Only very small thing I would be critical of was the tour representative. There was not very helpful and insisted into doing things her way rather than what we wanted.

From the haircut I received from Betty the Barber to the massage I received from Johnny the best masseuse I have ever had I truly enjoyed the world class spa experience Skylight Hotel offers. Please give my strongest thanks to Johnny for his excellent deep-tissue massage!
