I really enjoyed staying at the African Regent Hotel in Accra, Ghana. It was enchanting to walk into the very African themed lobby to hear piano music playing. And that was just the start of a wonderful week staying there. The breakfast, although not very varied from day-to-day, filled me up and got me ready for full days of touring. I used the pool and the loungers and was very satisfied with them. I happened to catch a cold just as I arrived, and I tell you, it was the most wonderfully comfortable bed to rest in for a day or two before I felt better. The staff were incredibly helpful all the way through, and they are very nice and welcoming. The rooms are well thought out and fully equipped. Even the bar is really pretty! I would definitely stay there again.

The staff here are amazing. The rooms are very clean, a little dated but extremely comfortable and nice. The restaurant is excellent. Will definitely stay again as the staff were beyond accommodating to every need and went above and beyond.

Mary was a tremendous help to my trip. She responded quickly to messages I sent to the hotel before I left home and she was a welcoming face when I arrived. All of the staff were kind and helpful. The location close to the Accra shopping mall was great, it enabled me to buy internet access and other essentials that I needed for the start of my trip.The room was clean and well presented and the staff were very helpful. As a solo traveller, I selected the hotel principally because of the airport pickup and location, I was not disappointed by either. Also the notel internet was reliable.

We chose this hotel after personal recommendations from friends and family living in Accra. It was our third hotel during our trip to Ghana, and it exceeded all our expectations! We truly loved everything about it! The staff were so warm, welcoming, and extremely professional, while the rooms and facilities were maintained to the highest standard. The breakfast offered a huge selection, and the location was perfect. We also really appreciated the extra touches, such as the talented pianist playing in the foyer each evening, along with live bands and entertainment at night. The distinctive character and overall ambience made the experience even more special. We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.
