2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Staff went missing from front desk for about 30 minutes around 11 p.m. when I had an issue with my room and needed to switch rooms-Housekeeping were loud in the hallways in the mornings, didn’t even clean mainly just messed around. Floors were sticky, no clean towels, breakfast was ok but the same thing for 3 days gets old. No water to drink is available unless you pay $4 for a bottled water and they charged me $17 for an unknown reason and management couldn’t tell me why. Worse holiday inn I’ve stayed at. Not safe for a female solo traveler.

This place as clean and all the staff were very kind. The room was great and comfortable. Great breakfast and new coffee makers since I was last there. It's now an automated machine that grinds the beans on the spot. Made the coffee soooo good to have the beans freshly ground right then and there. There were two small maintenance items in the room that needed to be addressed. I was able to talk to the Property Manager with little to no effort on my part because he was there. He was incredibly nice. He listened, apologized for the small issues, and thanked me for letting him know about them. We were there only a short time, but based on my interactions with him, I do not doubt he took care of it. Would definitely stay at this location again!

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room was good, bed comfortable staff friendly , breakfast had no fruit out for the first 6 of the 13 days I was there I asked about that and the manager said their supplier had let them down and that he had personally bought fruit and it would be out the next morning which it was, The swimming pool was green with algae and unusable, I asked the manager why it was like that and he said they were trying to get it sorted and asked if I wanted to swim ( the temperature while I was there was 100 to 105 degrees F) he said if I did I could use the pool at their sister hotel across the road. I did not think this hotel was value for money I expected more from Holiday Inn Express.
