“This lodge was in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest, which was so cool. There was a tiny pool, but 2 nice natural swimming holes to wade in However, food was quite pricey for the quality you received in the restaurant. The Continental breakfast was a nice touch in the morning. It was great that we were loaned a flashlight and umbrella for our stay.”

“Great location on Macrossan St. central to grocery stores, restaurants, beach and Marina. I was not happy with the Queen Room I was given as the balcony was off the bathroom which was awkward. The room did not fit the description and room layout advertised on this expedia site and I was disappointed. If you book a queen room maybe check where your balcony sits if this matters to you. Otherwise we had a decent stay and would recommend this hotel.”

“Very responsive owners, I was able to communicate easily by email. They booked my calypso and supersonic snorkeling trips as well as my Hartley Croc Adventure tickets and transport. Apartment is very clean with good water pressure and strong air conditioning. Close to many shops and restaurants. Finally comes with washer and dryer which was very useful. Thank you!”

The pool is smallish but really lovely made and set up with modern shower and bathroom on side as well as BBQ, deep and shallow end, lovely plants. We have been in Port Douglas in similar location before and it's the best you can place yourself as one minute to beach and five minutes to shops. They had little library and...
