“I stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned every day. Great quiet spot to base out of if you are traveling around Alentejo. The town is very cute and there are lots of beaches in each town around the alqueva. It is worth driving around for a day to see all the small villages. There are some great food options around town as well. I did not eat breakfast here but they do have a Continental breakfast area.”

“Beautiful common areas! Pool was Nice but needed some TLC ! Actual room was just ok!! Loved the serenity and ambiance! Breakfast was included and lovely.”

“Road in was a little bumpy but well worth the drive. Amazing views of the valley, sunrises and sunsets. Breakfast was very good, with fresh juice and fruit, fresh croissants and bread and unique spreads for them. Dinners are optional. We have three, one each night. They were all unique and very good.”

Hele aardige mensen.

“Quinta Marugo is a wonderful place in the beautiful region of Alentejo. The place offers a lot of peace, given its rural location in the countryside and relaxation opportunities (pool, Yoga, sport activities). The focus on organic food production and sustainable use of resources are omnipresent, showing how tourism can become more sustainable and offer inspiration for home usage and change in behaviors. The staff was extremely friendly and made the whole experience very personal which we highly...
