“We travelled as a family of 4 with two very young kids and we loved our stay at the lavender cottage! It was peaceful, quiet and idyllic. We had everything we needed and the host was welcoming and kind. Being able to use the fireplace was a lovely bonus on a cold day! ”

“Upon arriving I was greeted with excellent hospitality. An extremely beautiful home and an awe inspiring view that you can stare at for hours. Town is well within walking distance and offers plenty of bars and restaurants. Uber also offers cheap rides into Christchurch city if needed.”

An easy location to walk to town and when the weather was nice we could sit out front with our happy hour wine and snacks and have a view of the town and harbor. The house was well appointed. It is an historic house, so those who like modern amenities may not be as comfortable. We loved the eclectic decore and charm of the cottage and found it had everything we needed.
