“First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious. Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed. “We stayed for 8 days so a much longer stay than usual. The staff are lovely including Reception, housekeeping and breakfast room. We had a lovely room at the end of the corridor so we were rarely disturbed. Enjoyed the breakfast done to order. The car park can be tricky as there aren’t a long of spaces but the overflow suits us fine too. Environmentally, we bring our own toiletries so do not use the complimentary packs apart from a bar of soap. Towels replaced daily so it would be good to...
