“Shame on Expedia for not refunding the amount. We did not stay at the hotel. The place said they would send information, which they didn’t. We arrived with our two tired kids and called Expedia because the host did not answer calls, texts or What’s App messages. Then we got texts from another number that stated the room was not clean but we could stay there. A person came out and said her room was filthy. The host on What’s App said they would refund the money but would not pick up when Expedia...

“Bunch of fucking scammers wasting my fucking time and money. They cancelled my reservations last minute so I couldn’t physically cancel it, on top of that they refuse to refund my fucking money. I called them countless time to refund my money but wouldn’t pick up. Clearly they are using this method to scam people and they know well that Expedia do fuck all to help customers. They scammed me of my £165, worst fucking booking I’ve done on my life. If I can’t get my refund, might as well give them...

“At the heart of Croydon. Shops, food takeaways, high street, bus stops/underground station within walking distance. Free parking after 6pm/all day on Sunday. Would comfortably sleep 5 not 6.”

“I messaged this property as instructed and called several times to receive the access code necessary to enter the premises however I did not receive any response and was therefore left to book a last-minute hotel at great cost to myself. The property itself did not inspire confidence, as it looked like the outside of someone’s house with no signage to indicate it was reputable establishment to stay in. Throughly disappointing experience. ”

“Servicio al cuarto deficiente, nunca nos cambiaron las sábanas. Sin lugar para guardar la ropa.”

“Aparte de la buena comunicación con el transporte público,se puede pasear junto al Támesis para llegar hasta el Parlamento en 20´.Enfrente del hotel existen bicicletas públicas.Para acceder a todos estos servicios públicos con una tarjeta contactless de España es suficiente. Como inconveniente tiene un bar musical en la zona trasera en planta sótano, aunque no se oye mucho.”

“The advert for the apartment didn’t match reality. Lots of things didn’t work ie bedside charging table in main bedroom, lamp in bedroom, the sofa bed is missing one leg and the other is about to fall off, no kitchen towel or kitchen roll the second bed was not luxury foam as described, no mirrors in the apartment etc etc We very dissatisfied with the place”

“My initial room was on the top floor and the light wasn’t working, it felt very humid and dusty and gave me allergies. People via email and reception were nice and sorted out a different room in the ground floor which was a bit better - however it feel is like there is no alignment between reception and the email contact given through Expedia. Key to enter the building stopped working on my second day and had to request access via email and they shared a code. Building is located super close to...
