“Bien situé. Calme. Très bon petit déjeuner. La directrice est très serviable.”

“Its good environment and good service Food is so good ”

“Like:- Just next to the Kandy lake and the tooth relic temple. Excellent and well maintained pool. Dislike:- Heritage property but not adequately maintained. Very noisy at night as it is just beside the main road turn and all vehicles honk at that place.”

“Perfect for our one night stay , close to the lake & a very short walk to the temple of the tooth . Spacious room with everything we needed & lovely staff”

“This is a family-run hotel with a personal touch. The hosts were wonderful and super-helpful. Great location, great view, clean rooms. Lovely people. ”

“It wasn’t good. We arrived late to nobody being around. We had to ask for facilities to cook and for the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work very well. The room wasn’t clean, with us finding hairs in the sheets the bathroom constantly smelling. I reckon once, it was brilliant but now it’s rubbish. Not even in a good location. ”

“The biggest thing that strikes you is the lovely stunning environment and very villa as its gated with 24 hours security. We felt at home. The two caretakers are simply warm helpful and very professional. The neighbours were helpful . I had such a wonderful stay! 🌟 The space itself was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. I felt a warm welcome upon arrival, which instantly made me feel at home. The stunning surroundings were the perfect for a relaxing stay, and every detail...

“Great stay at historic hotel. Staff were very attentive. Pool was great, along withe buffet breakfast.”

“Beware non-Muslim guests! This is a dry hotel, and apparently consumption of alcohol is prohibited anywhere on the property. This was not disclosed prior, which is unacceptable! We were a couple staying one night only. We had the suite with a balcony on the 3rd floor. Booked through Expedia. The room is spacious and well presented. Good view over the river. Breakfast was excellent. Now for the bad: we were told as going up to our room in the lift juggling beer and wine bottles that consumption...

“We really enjoyed our stay at 'Forest Edge Hotel'. The location is charming with nature and beautiful views all around (I think all rooms have access to a balcony). It's far away enough from the main road that you don't hear any traffic. They also have a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. At least in the room we stayed, there were only power outlets with circular-shaped pins (something to keep in mind if you're used to using square pin adapters). The WIFI...

“Wonderful place delightful people it’s simply impossible to do any better”

“We loved our stay at Kandy Shady Trees thanks to the very welcoming and accommodating nature of our hosts. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable and breakfast was fresh and substantial. The location is up a steep hill (we took a tuk tuk up and down it) but could be walked. Views from the property were great and it was in close proximity to central Kandy and many worth visiting sites. Our host also accommodated us by driving us to local sites for a very reasonable fee. He was...
