“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. The room was super comfortable. The continental breakfast that’s provided a lot of love goes into the room has everything you need? The host is lovely. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to stay before going to Stonehenge. Plenty of local dining options as well.”

“I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had.
