“This was our second stay at Simon's Place, we like the relaxed, genuine Tongan atmosphere. The owners and staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Lovely help yourself breakfast and the cafe meals are delicious too. It's a convenient location, just a short 10 minute stroll to town past the market or to the waterfront and it can be interesting with the wandering dogs (we never had any trouble), cockerels and chickens - even an occasional pig and piglets!! Hey, it's Tonga,...

“Excellent place to stay! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a home away from home, with genuine local knowledge and hospitality. George, Selina and Siupeli (apologies if I’ve spelt any names incorrectly!) were all so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was also fresh, healthy and delicious. Highly recommend staying here!”

“We loved our stay here. We loved the simple Tongan style accommodation. There are only 3 fales set in beautiful tropical gardens where guests are allowed to pick their own pawpaw and coconuts. It is private, secure and quiet, set beside the best snorkelling beach in Tonga with the use of kayaks. The coral is amazing to the right of the beach but you need to be careful to go when it’s calmer and lower tide. We saw whales swim past from the family unit we were staying in. The flying foxes (bats)...
