“I have nothing to compare it with as this is my first experience of youth hostels in 40 years. I was impressed. I loved the open area, bar and restaurant. The dormitory was excellent. Beds were well spaced, ample plug sockets, mattress & pillows excellent. Clean sheets and super mattress. The bed was as good as any 5 star hotel. Honestly. The shower was clean but a little small. “When we entered the apartment it was so cold and took all night for the heat to warm up. It was not a pleasent first impression. The apartment was advertised to have a king sized bed and it was an extremely hard queen sized bed. The first plate and fork rhat I went to use were bith dirty. “Chris & Victoria were very welcoming and friendly. Gave us suggestions of where to dine and trips to take. B&B was well maintained, room had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, fresh, local produce, plenty of tea, coffee etc. nothing was too much trouble for them Would definitely stay again”
