We had the grand double room which converted the sofa at the end of the bed into a double bed to accommodate 3 people. It worked great but also note it's definitely close quarters. Highly recommend a stay here. My husband arrived with a broken leg, Jerome could not have been more helpful, organising an earlier accessible room than we had booked, helped with our luggage and was so attentive. Alicia was most helpful with replying to our enquiries later. The hotel was close to everything with tram outside the door. A lovely breakfast and cocktail drinks in a well appointed restaurant/bar area. Our trip was cut short but we will be back.

Very nice area, a few yards from the tram, easy access and well kept. Very recommendable. The staff friendly and helpful. They always greet you with a smile. The pretty girl with the bandana who tends at the restaurant during the breakfast buffet is an asset to the establishment: always friendly, smiling and saying hello. Made my stay even better. We enjoyed our stay here and the breakfast was good. Some more professional behavior by staff at breakfast time without private conversations would be appreciated. They seemed uninterested in guests or their needs even asking if they should bother to refill empty food areas when there was still an hour left. We loved the choice of pillows but the rooms that were promised did not happen. More attention to detail and guests please.

I was upgraded to a queen room with sitting area that was extremely spacious and comfortable. Great bed with eiderdown comforter. Bathroom was clean but there is a big step into and out of the tub/shower. Breakfast was included and there was a nice self-service buffet with good variety. Only thing missing is a gym. Location is also terrific; just a few minutes walk from old Zurich, the Kunstmuseum and Opera House. 15-20 minute walk to Bahnhoffstrasse.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! Alyssa (I hope I spelled her name correctly:) ) welcomed us at reception with a glass of prosecco, which was such a lovely touch. She was incredibly kind and friendly throughout our stay. Both the reception area and the Flor Café, where we enjoyed our breakfast, were beautifully designed and had a very tasteful atmosphere. We stayed as a family of three with our 5-year-old, and our room was spacious and comfortable for all of us. We also truly appreciated the thoughtful welcome note left on the desk. They had arranged the couch as a bed for our son, it was generously sized and very comfortable. The only minor note about the room was that the bathroom had two separate sliding doors without locks, which might feel a bit unusual for those who prefer more privacy. The neighborhood was also very pleasant. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Zurich. Thank you for everything!

The Best of Zurich Switzerland ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From a smooth, courteous and welcoming check in to an even amazing check out with Alecia. The entire team was naturally good at excellent customer service. I purchased a converter plug from the US and it didn’t work. It tripped off the electric. An expression that the team uses is “ no worries” I really found it reassuring and down right tension reducing. It’s like Jamaica in Europe. Lol. You know what I mean if you’ve ever traveled to Jamaica. This was in stark contrast to another hotel that I stayed at here in Zurich. The bedding is spot on and the rooms were very clean and the layout was thoughtful. I absolutely loved the deep soaking tub/shower. The location is perfect. Located not far from a beautiful lake, community shops with organic produce, fresh juice and foods to stock your refrigerator. I can not say enough positive adjectives to describe the restaurant staff. They prepare delicious breakfasts. The coffee with milk was probably the best I’ve had since visiting Portugal. The room purchased a room with “breakfast included”. I’m so happy I did because it was so delicious and freshly prepared with service that I’ve not seen in America for at least 30 years. It was so wonderful to stay at this hotel and I can not wait to return with my husband and adult kids, friends and retreat clients. It’s not far from the airport and a great spot to launch cool railway excursions throughout Switzerland and nearby countries by beautiful panoramic trains and ferries.
