The location of this hotel couldn't be better, in old town, walkable and convenient to everything. The staff was super helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

This is a great hotel in the downtown area, near the lakefront and river. Lots of restaurants, shops and parks nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything in the hotel was clean and well maintained.

Good clean functional and conveniently located hotel. I stayed for one night. The one diwnside was it has central heating where guest has no control over temp setting. My room was too hot and the one night I stayed I couldn’t sleep at all

It was a very nice stay. Rooms were very clean. The staff were amazing and friendly. Only downside is the lack of AC as the rooms got kind of stuffy, even with the windows open, and there was no fan in the bathroom so it got pretty humid. Other than that 10/10

The location of the Altstadt Hotel in Old Town Zürich was definitely the highlight of the property. For the price, the room was tiny and the cleaning staff did not thoroughly clean our room but rather tidied up. We used glasses and mugs for coffee, and they left the dirty dishes in the room which we thought was odd. Other than that, we thought the stay was simply fine vs excellent. It did the job but certainly left some things to be desired.
